Who can identify this "something" 8)
it's a wing tip
We think way too much alike. Except I would have said a "paper" wingtip...
But it does belong to a plane
well, i thought I would be helpful
he didn't say we had to ID the rest of the aircraft
No, it really is not a wingtip
Wingtip is below...
Since this is sorted out, my question now is to identify this plane 8)
Something just yells WW2 Japanese about the wingtip and horizontal stabiliser. How about one of Kawanishi N1K1 (floatplane) or N1K1-J /N1K2-J (landplanes)? There isn't enough yet to discriminate between these.
Getting closer 8)
Is it Nakajima Ki-44?
I have not got a clue
But two I would like to see: -
Kawanishi H8K or a Mitsubishi F1M, well your have to wish  .
(Anyone know of these out there in 1/33)
Ziga - you guys just spoiled the fun
