    These WM photo's were also taken by my father. These photo's were taken at Rockwood, Pa and is train # 294 And yes in the last photo that is a Chessie Diesel on the head end. The last photo with the Chessie Loco is the West Coaster coming through Rockwood, Pa.

    I grew up next the B&O Philly Subdivison in Delaware County, PA and I can remember Western Maryland units coming through on trains in the early Chessie days. The one and only F unit I saw on a regularly scheduled freight was a Western Maryland in the circus scheme.

    Cool shots. I'm headed to the Cumberland area for a week at the end of the month and I'm hoping to have some time to get out on the trail on the old WM right of way there.
