A couple of problems have arisen in the transfer. The Academy is off-line as this bulletin board doesn't have an archive section. We're working on a work-around and I'll inform everyone when its fixed.

Enjoy the new board, it has lots of new features.

This new board software looks good. I like the new functions, etc. It does seem to load more slowly, however. I hope this is only a matter of fine tuning.

I am curious about the relationship between vBulletin and Infopop. Is vBulletin just a new name? They look so much alike I can't imagine them being totally seperate companies.

Catt!, thats a good question!

Pierce, Infopop and Vbulletin are two totally different companies. This board now runs on a PHP/MYSQL database, which believe it or not should be much faster than the old board. Its much more difficult to sort out problems on this board as it doesn't create HTML files like UBB. it also uses a lot less resources on the server.

Shamus, just in the door getting 'round to that;)
