I had intended to post this tomorrow, but I'll likely be spending the day with my girlfriend, haha. Anyways, tomorrow will be the last day before I head out for Indoc at SUNY Maritime Academy. With the strict regs regarding dorms and weekend liberties, I doubt I'll have much time to make models in the near future.
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for a great five years. I started out here making really simple and basic models designed in Microsoft Publisher of all things, and later on, I thought that my last post would have been by a friend logging into this account after my depression had gotten the best of me; who'da thunk I'd actually continue the hobby! Thanks to all of you for your continued encouragement, tips, and general camaraderie and tomfoolery along the way; doubt I'd have developed as an artist like I have without this forum.
I have a final model in the works; it's just about ready for testbuilding. Hopefully I can get it done later tonight or with my girlfriend tomorrow, but worse comes to worst, I'll just post the raw files either in this thread or on my deviantArt.
So once again, thanks for a wonderful four years, and here's to many more. I'll definitely keep you guys updated on my progress at the academy.
