There are no commerically available grade crossings through curved track. With Atlas Code 80 track (I don't know about Code 55) you can get away with a 90 degree crossing (right angle) where you'd cut off the straight legs of the track but you'll still have a very short piece of straight track through the crossing. I think that would work though.

If you truly want what you've illustrated you'll have to hand lay it.

Thank for your reply on the crossing. well I don't have pictures loaded yet but i have started building The bench work. I made a little adjustment so I can pull off the smaller section easyer. It's now a 5x3 section, so I will not have to worrie about the small radius.
I'm building the 5x3 first and once thats finished or close to I will start the 5X5.
take care.

Hey McB....You might want to put another set of cross-braces on those legs (so they make an "X"), and add a couple of 1x4 stringers across the top to lay the foam on. You don't want the top sagging under your weight as you work on the railroad....

Goos luck..!!

Well I started to Assemble my PumpJack.

Made a few mistakes but I'm ok with it, I used the gel style glue instead of the liquid and this made a mess of the fine details.

I also didn't mix my paint well and will need to sand it down and try again.

Well I got the PumpJack finished tonight.
I tryed using 12v but the jack ran to fast to be realistic, I found that 3v was about right.

I would place video up but the wire is a little bent and cause's it to run a bit rough. It is getting better over time, so hopefully soon I can add the video.

Let me know what you guys think.announce1

Well two weeks ago I moved in with the Girlfriend, which meant I had to move my layout.

When I built the Layout I had measured it to fit through a door. But forgot to measure the turn in the hall way. Also I never made the legs removable.

So now I can start all over, at the new place I will be using the corner of the living room. which will allow for a longer track and more scenery. This time I will document more of the layout building for every one that wants to see it.

Well that sucks but at the same time, it's always fun to start another new layout. I look forward to the promised updates.
