After I figured out how to put the first building together, I built a second one. Compared to the first one, it was simple.

After seeing the other aircraft pictures, I couldn't resist adding one of my favorites from an air show in Bay City MI in 2006.
I model the steam era, and I also like the old warbirds - they had a lot more character!

Here is a boxcar I just picked up yesterday. The shiny paint is driving me nuts, so I think it will be off to the weathering shop, pronto!
And that's a B25 Mitchell medium bomber, just like the ones that Doolittle used to bomb Tokyo.

SO how did you catch this aircraft yourself?! Wrong turn at albuquerque with your car while railfanning, or what?
That has this project complete and in place on the layout.
Funny thing is, one of the guys I work with, has a few shots of one of the shuttles landing, when he was in the Air Force. He's also got shots of himself standing next to it.
Thanks for the honor of the picture of the week, not what I had expected! I had planned to get some autographs, and more shots Sunday evening, but I have come down with a NASTY cold. SO much so I called in sick to over time, and called in today too. I feel like CRAP!
Now, back to laying down watching TV I go...
Believe it or not, I had that boxcar in my hand and put it back. It attracted my attention because I've got a mallet that used to have Cripple Creek and something or other on the side of it. I put it back 'cause my mallet is HO.
