Weathering - Covered Hopper

Howdy!

I haven't taken any pics of my weathering attempts since I got my new camera, so I thought I'd post a couple images of my covered hoppers:

I didn't show the trucks because I haven't weathered these. This hopper is from Atlas, and I replace those with Micro-Trains...just haven't done it to this one yet.

I used these Polly Scale and/or Floquil paints: Grimy Black, Rust, Earth, and Dirt. Some may also notice a few spots of spilled "corn" on the roof. This is actually garlic salt that has been glued in place. A little trick I picked up from an article I read.
