Guards Gyro-copter

I made the build thread over at a new Warhammer papercraft site, paperhammer40k.com. For those of us who like warhammer stuff, they are trying to start a new paper community. If you wish to see the build thread, go on over and check out what they have to offer. anyways here are some photos of the answer to those Ork Death-coptas. It is just a basic design and it can be upgraded with other weapons but be advise, weapons should be in comparison to the size of the copter. It would not look right if the copter was carrying a cruise missile or the payload of a B-29. Enjoy and see you around the forums.

Imperial Guard Artyllery

Looks pretty hot, Ill need to jump over and check out the thread

Thanks for the comment Devox.

Here is another piece for the Imperial Guard. A basilisk on a platform. Used in a defensive position as an anti-tank gun. Something similar to the German 88. These are some of the latest photos and the build thread can also be found over at the new paperhammer site.. paperhammer40k.com. The reason for posting the build thread there, is to help the site during its start-up and let other people see what they have to offer.

Here are the photos of the basilisk scratched built my way. I used the Games Workshop model as a reference and for size information. I hope that you enjoy the model.:wave::wave:

These are fantastic! Thanks for posting on dakkadakka, I wouldn't have found all this otherwise. Have you posted the cut-out diagrams for these anywhere yet? I've been looking for a good paper cut-out bike template to help get me started on a moped project.

There is a template for a jet bike in the downloads section and over at paperhammer40k.com, there is a download for a space marine bike. It is a basic plan and you can add or enhance them.

I will be making some of them again soon, but presently I am trying my hand at some scratched builds. But any one who does one I hope they do a build thread for the rest of us to follow.

The name of the game, is to enjoy building them.

Now I was thinking of doing some Eldar Jet Bikes, so I bough a GW model and used it as reference and soon I will be posting it but in the meantime, here are few a teaser pictures. I interrupted my Catachan Scout Jeep build for the Eldar and that will come soon also. See you all around the forums.:wave::wave:

Eldar Jet Bike

For a long time I wanted to do an Eldar Jet bike. With that in mind, I bought a kit and using that as a template, I built one. Some of the greebles are metal but I could have made them out of paper as well. The coils on the main body and next to the brakes, are from wrapping fine wire around a tooth pick. The rest is all paper card stock. Here are some pictures of the finished model.

And here are the final pictures. Give me a reply if the backgrounds are too much and if I should go back to a finished product without a background. See you all around the forums.

Catachan Scout vehicle

I am almost finished with this little fellow. I have to cut and glue the crew before I can continue but this is a wheeled vehicle dune buggy style. I have yet to decide the weapons system but here is a teaser of where it is now. There will be templates for this one, they are in the pencil stage at the moment but I will work on the plans after the vehicle is finished. The build will start shortly and see you all then.

Catachan Scout vehicle

Here is the start of the build thread of the Catachan Scout vehicle. It is a cross between an ATV and a Dune buggy. It is a two man machine and can be also utilize by the Imperial Guard as well. It can be mounted with diversified weapons systems and can be used as a fast attack as well as a scout. Enjoy the build. The first installment will be the wheels. It follows the same procedures used earlier with the exception the the lugs are glued on individually.

Thank you for the comment Gloups.

And now for the main body. It is a narrow section and it be a two man vehicle. The outside are laminated and the top and is edge slotted for fit. There are no tabs in this section but you can place the outline on a sheet of paper and fold them in without having to edge glue them. So here we go with the body construction.:wave::wave:
