are there any paper dreadnouhgts outthere?

    thank you

once i get better ill have a go at this one

im building the original one right now, will try to post pics when im done!

    very nice!

i started paper modeling with the intent of making my own r/c planes. i started with the fiddlersgreen models cause they were the first i found. i was planing on using one of the cheap little rc planes i can by at wal mart for the eletrics.but RW got in the way. after seeing this thread i hope to try again. will probly try to make an albatross dIV. thanks for the re-inspiration!

i mostly give them away to freinds an the guys at work. i found it does not bode well for the modelcto hand it to my wifes 8 year old and say ' check out the paper plane i just finished". he promptly throws it into the ground and says" it does not fly good"

    warlord titan

hi this is my first post . I have found a 3d warlord titan plan. it come as a computer mod but you can open it with peparuka. you have to adjust the scale. I am building mine 60 cm high. i think it will be big enough. here the link. I think you have to register to have the warlord . just type robot in the search bar.

Probably depends on location. I personally print on 8.5x11 card stock, but many templates that originate in Europe are designed to print on A4 paper.

8x14 would be handy, but I haven't seen it in the shops I go to.

I end up redoing layouts for Elli's kits to fit 8.5 x 11.

I was at Hobby Lobby today and found some paper that is about the weight of 110# carstock (no weight given on the paper). It is called Tagboard and comes in 9x12" sheets and was only 9 dollars for a pack of 100. I havent used any of it yet but it looks like it should work well. Here is a link to it on Hobby Lobby's website...

I actually open and reorganize each .pdf I want to use of Eli's in GIMP. Getting A4 is next to impossible where I am, and no one carries cardstock in 8.4x14. Takes maybe a half-hour or so, but completely worth it. It also allows me to duplicate elements that I know I will want to laminate.

I'm the same guy that did the Dark Eldar Razorwing and Venom. There's a tutorial for the venom on pages 5 & 6 of the pdf here:
    https://rapidshare.com/files/1232477548/venomtemplate.pdf

The Stormraven in the link is the third revision I've done of it. The turret is articulated, but the exhaust vents are just textured on to save time. I would have done some weapons options, but the lascannon variant without the hurricane bolters was all I had available to borrow to use as a reference.
