Great build. :thumb:
Look forward to seeing the model when painted.
Brilliant work Armorman! I have a question; do you prime before painting a paper model, or just paint on the surface? I ask as I imagine the gear/detail lines would work well as a guide, in addition to adding a bit of detail to the model.
Thanks for the kudos.
I prime with a sandable auto body primer as it tends to firm up the paper once dried. I then paint. All detail is raised (or recessed) and so no line guides are needed.

Wow Armorman, even more models!
Is there a THUNDERHAWK still to come?
I have no idea....
Thanks for the new models armorman.
I'm hoping for a gorgon troop carrier.
New printer arrived today - so should be able to restart model making this weekend. Just have to decide on which one first...sigh
If you do any of Patoroch's models, Attempt a build thread. There are few build sequences for his models around here. They come in handy for the rest of us who try to build one. Also, go to GW or White Dwarf to get some more info on the models. The original models supply a wealth of detail not covered in his models.
Cheers Silveroxide. I'm a regular visitor to the GW site - I like my miniature painting. I have the new Space Hulk waiting to be assembled and painted.
Seriously jealous mate, my local store had one near Christmas I just did not have the free cash to get. Had I known it was a limited run I might have gone for it anyway, but alas I did not.
Man I love that game.
I got mine when it came out...I just had been thinking of getting one off ebay when the new set was announced. My shop had to put up with me doing payments ($99 U.S. - first time I paid full price :eek!.
Ok...It's painted and weathering is started....
That looks even better painted mate; Superb build!
Got a question.
Is that diamond plating on the walkway?
If so, how did you make that, is it made out of paper?
it is diamond plating, and yes it's made of paper. I could make you try to noodle through it like I did....but I won't. I used screen door screen to emboss over.
The marauder bomber look great. I'll hope to see the destroyer version soon.
Great camo work there. Well done :thumb:
He's working on a Thunderhawk with full interior...
Sweet mother-of-pearl! I had allowed myself to hope someone would tackle one of those, but Patoroch?
