Finally received the files for the arvus...the textures sure look nice on it.

It becomes complicated since the model is divided in 25 wavefront obj files. Looks like i first have to join these files (some seem to be needed for variants) and then delete details that are too small for a paper model. That will be the biggest problem.

Will keep you updated about my progress.

Does anyone know where 3 views of the Tau Orca can be found. I would purchase the Tactica Areonautica if I was sure I could find them in there. Hoping to create and Orca full size (28mm).

28mm? I thought the Orca was more in the hundreds of feet for full scale...;)

    Orca Scale

What i meant was scaled to full sizes for 28mm figures. I have worked on sclaing from some of the pictures I coudl find. Seems to be about 87' full scale, and around 16" at 28mm scale.

When I can get access to a color printer, I can't wait to dive headfirst into this one!

Hey Flare, any plans for Necron stuff, by chance?

In case you hadn't seen them, there's a couple of necron models in the downloads section - the Pylon, and a Monolith. They're in the Mecha and Anime folder, instead of the warhammer one though.

love the look of that dread ... MUST CREATE IT 40K SCALE!!! Yes, i did see the wip shots of it when it was a good few inches tall (hmm, use it as an apocalyptic titan perhaps? lol) How would a simpleton like me create it to have the same weapon on both sides? thnx.

Easy. Just print the arm parts in mirror image on you computer and assemble backwards.

I always find facing the parts is more productive when you're assembling them. ;)
