Hey everyone! I have the best wife EVER!!! She gave me the best gift I could ever get, she got me a one hour in the engeneer's seat! the best thing I have done yet! given the track speed was 10 MPH it was still the awesome to get to actually opperate the thing, not a cab ride but actuall seat time. here is the website: http://www.fgcrrm.org/ and here is the link for "rent-a-locomotive" http://www.fgcrrm.org/information.shtml the information is about half way down the page. now you all in florida beter jump on this soon, they are running out of funding and could be gone forever. go here for the pictures!

Oh man!!!! Good for you!!!! What a great experience! I see the brakes pretty clearly but not the throttle. Was it one of those drum styled, cylindrical control stands? I enjoyed the othger pics, particularly the Pennsey RS3. Very nice!

That's great! Thanks for posting that pic. I made a mock up of one for my layout that houses my power pack but I've always wanted to put my hand to the real thing. Based on the pic I'd say you had a good time! :)
