I recently gave a presentation on RC Aircraft for my daughter's class.

The grade six curriculum includes a component on flight theory, and RC provides the children with a platform to experience real applications of abstract ideas.

The children were attentive, excited, and extremely appreciative of the discussion. I am certain a few of them will become involved in the hobby in the very near future.

Not only did the children benefit, it allowed me to share my love of the hobby, show off some of my aircraft, and display my flying ability. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and couldn't wipe the smile off my face all weekend.

I am currently trying to set up FMS, and perhaps a buddy box flying session for them.

Listen to what your children are studying, and look for opportunities to share your expertise. You won't be disappointed
