Ok as I was doing research I found 2 fairly neat items, The first item is seen in this video

The railroad in this clip is in progress but very nice looking but what I want you to focus on is the DCC board (at least I am assuming that is what it is) can anyone confirm what control board that is? very nice digital display.

And another item I found is this track cleaning car found here.

It seams lke it would be a good investment has anyone used one?

The first videao you linked to is for Marklin trains. They are ho scale, but operate on Marklin's ac "three rail" system. The third "rail" is actually a blackened pin sticking up in the center of each tie so they don't show. Everybody else's ho trains run on dc, so you can't mix the two control systems or locomotives. I think the Marklin cars could be used with other brands of trains, but the locomotives won't work. You can have Marklin or dc powered ho, but not both.

The Aztec track cleaner cars work very well. I would use the chemical cleaner type with a handi wipe and the track cleaning chemical. Then I would make a masonite rubbing block with two nails glued to the smooth side. You drill 2 holes to match in the bottom of a boxcar, and let the nails protrude into the car and slide the masonite along the track. The rough side of the masonite will polish the rails for you. Occasionally use a little of your liquid track cleaner chemical with an old tooth brush to remove the build up of junk on the bottom of the slider.
