:mrgreen:Awesome work man!
My personal motto is:
"Limits exist only in your mind."
I build internal, form-giving frames from the front-end and the aft-end of each section, that way they fit together perfectly. But your solution is very nice, too.
Next group (nr. 14) is online: Starboard side canon.
I think we have to introduce another category. Jan's model can never become a "model of the week" or a "model of the month". It is definitely a "model of the year" if not a "model of the decade"!!!! :thumb::thumb::thumb:
Agreed on model of the year, but to be fair... Uhu does some fantastic stuff too, so he might be in the running...
:thumb::thumb::thumb: Agreed!!! :thumb::thumb::thumb:
Next group is online! Port side gun, group 16.
Bump indeed. Lookey what I found. I can't wait for Jan to get this done, but in the interum I found a nifty version of this model that looks to have at least the same level of detail.:thumb:
Where oh where do you find all your nifty models?
Well..... I've been on the net since it was nothing more than a communications system, or ordering and supply system for the US Military... I have friends that do CG, I know a few people that I wont name that worked, or work in the business, I've been gaming since "Pong" and I've been collecting models and data files since the beginning of the BBS's, not to mention the fact that if I can't find it, don't have have it and can't buy it, I'll make it, if I have to do it myself, whether in the computer, or by hand. I've been a science fiction fan since I was 6yrs old in 68, so that's the short version of the answer.
Sorry for no update this friday. Instead of my work, the family needs my time too. So there is no update on the sulaco.cz There is lots of work to do to obtain complete model and my eyes blowing when im looking to MARCO, SKODA,Alex Albrecht, Matthew,RICK´s work....
It is boring to do one model whole two years but you are really amaze me guys.:thumb:.....I´ll try to complete this update to monday 3.10.2011....and must starting on my prototype too...some of you have more details glued than me
be patient with me...
I think we all understand that life gets in our ways at times. Thanks for the update and your hard work. :thumb:
We'll try to not distract you TOO much. Seriously, you work is awesome, and speaks for itself. Take you time, and if life gets in the way, Enjoy it.
The delay is no problem for me, as I'm behind your published groups anyway. As long as the model will be finished in August 2012 I'm happy - I want to show it at the "Darmstadt SpaceDays 2012" (http://www.spacedays.de) then.
Is there another Rick here? Cause my work isnt THAT good yet.
I think with all the wonderful work you have been putting out that we can understand asking a little time off.
the results are always better when we really are hungry for it
That´s my words......And thanks for your support...from all of you.:thumb:
in a word - WOW!
