    A few years ago when I stayed in Tblisi, Georgia,I bought a couple of old Russian modellers magazines ( they're from 1975)
    I fogot all about it, till I recently was going through them again
    I found these heavely touched-up photo's and very acurate buildingplans of a plane. I have a book on Russian prototypes but it was not in there.
    The text is in Russian, so i can only read things like;
    CY-5, 1944, 810 km/ph
    It looks if it had two engines; a normal one which drove the propellor an a rocket engine
    Does anyone know which plane this is?

    It said it at the top of the article - the heading - "Cy - 5" translates to Su-5
    in English.

    Regards,

    Charlie
