Well, I'm no guru but I do have intrest in the UP mainly because Shreveport is a somewhat large hub where a number a different railroad's interchange. KCS being on top here, UP is next up in line because we used to have MoPac and Cotton Belt yard's all over the place here that the UP now own's from the merger. Then again I am guilty of owning a couple of UP SD40-2's one with and one w/o dynamic braking. I'm almost done with the super detailing on one these two unit's had a new wiper pickup system that Kato was trying out and it flopped so nither one of them run right now wall1but they will before I make another show.

I have noticed 2 UP modelers i wasn't aware of todayops:. being a HUGE UP fan(a fanatic really

), and UP modeler:mrgreen: , i am VERY CURIOUS if there is ANY MORE of us UP fans/modelers on this forum .

if you are modeling UP, have a thread on your UP layout, or have interest in the UP, PLEASE LET ME KNOW . i am VERY INTERESTED in following threads of those modeling the UP

Im ressurrecting this thread. Theres two SD60s and one SP C44. Now the C44 is not patched YET. But its one of the few remaining unpatched SP diesels in the UP roster. Next to it, there is a GIANT pen. The two SD60s are having a beauty contest to see who's got the prettiest face (since they have the same body). Which one wins guys?sign1

I must say that I still like the one with the Spartan- cab (The one on the right) I still like the "boxy" design. Not that I don't like the comfort- cab design, lol.

I have another SD60 with a two window comfort cab. I should have put that one on there too. I'll take a picture of it later and post it. The thing is that its undecorated. Not a UP model.

They are a mix of old Athearns, an Atlas and the GP30 is either a Rail Power or Front Range shell? on a shortend GP35 frame.
