unfinished projects...

A recent thread about the number of unfinished projects got me a little motivated to pull some out and get them finished up. Here is a caboose I am bashing. The top part came from an old spotlight caboose - probably a late 1970s life like model. It had an operating spotlight, and may in fact be the very first piece of model railroad equipment I ever recieved as a gift when I was about 6 or 7. I found it in a junk box, thought I could turn the caboose part into a narrow gauge caboose, built a frame for it, and this is as far as I have gotten. I need 3 more sets of steps, some handrails, and to reconfigure the truss rods underneath because the wheels rub on them around curves.

I know what you mean. I think I have three craftsman building kits in various stages of undone, several yet to be built, and a rather ambitious project to recreate the Amtrak Cascades. Someday....
Keep it up. One project at a time.
