*BREAKING NEWS* This just in! Here is an update on the build thus far! I am now working on the engine section now.
20180813_190951.jpg

As you can see, I raised the band and top circle.
20180819_051514.jpg 20180819_051524.jpg

The fit is a bit off. I think that the component is a bit off. I think that I did not set the printer to print on letter size paper

On to the engine intakes. Here are the components.
20180819_072117.jpg

I have raised some of the detail, so that it will look a bit more realistic.
20180819_100321.jpg 20180819_104208.jpg 20180819_104757.jpg 20180819_120928.jpg

The engine intakes are in place now. I made certain that the gaps of the itake walls are hidden properly.

Install the seat belt harness out of a new print of that part. Cut it out, and glue it over the seat's printed on Belt, to make it pop! Just a suggestion. :)
I was going to, but I will be having a figure sitting inside. So the harnesses will not be seen.

I have the sense you're building the landing bay repair/service center of the ship, or something along those lines? :)

:Bravo: Give that guy a GOLD STAR! :Bravo:
Yes, that is my plan. Not only that, but I will have a few "easter eggs" in it as well. :hide: So, keep your eyes pealed for them, once I am finished. :explode:

Amazing! the original template is brilliant but you are taking it to a new level!
Thank you very much. I am adding all of the detail that I wanted to originally.

I have a rule when it comes to building paper models. That rule is quite simple. "The first time I build a model, I must build it "as-is", to fully understand how the parts fit together and what kind of internal space I have to deal with. So, if I want to recess a particular component, I know just how far I can go with it. Not only that, but if there are moving parts, how much greebling can I add whilst still maintaining the movement of the parts. After all of that is said and done, I then will rebuild the model with all of the detail that I wish to add.
