Such great work! I think I'll put a Genius-at-Work sign up on your threads uhu02. Did you ever find any references for the underside of the Valley Forge?

    thank you,elliot

References for the underside was not found.
I think It was omitted to real model.

I design it by " gray".

    Someday,sometime…
If a detailed references lowers discovery, I'm go to design it again.

    I'm sorry bad english.

Your English is understandable to me uhu02. You are probably right about the underside not being done. From what I've read of movie props and models no time is wasted on areas that will not be seen in the film.

I found this site http://pages.sbcglobal.net/mdcurtiss/_wsn/page9.html it looks like you can buy the Valley Forge as a Plastic kit here. Don't know what the cost of the kit is.
My computer wall1 will not let me click the e-mail links in web pages, it comes back with (Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed ) whatever the heck that means?
    I think I like UHU02 version better.:thumb:

Well, this one is loooong out of production - and only 12 exist! I own one of those, but it is sitil not done yet. The construction of the dome-to-grid-connection is a bit tricky...

Will that be next? That's excellent! Someone did a card model of the drones but they were very small without much detail. I KNOW you will do them justice. You're models amaze and astound! :thumb:

Thank you so much for sharing them!

Well, I know Shunichi Makino designed some a while back (we are talking Huey, Dewey and Louie, right?) on his site .

    Yes, those would be the ones and I should correct myself here;

They are really very good models and quite detailed as far as graphics and proportions. They are obviously meant to be simple models of a previously unavailable subject. I have them myself and I enjoyed building them.

What a meant by "lacking in detail" was that the designer relied mostly on graphics that suggest raised lines, contours and ridges rather than creating those facets with card-stock. He did a great job as far as I'm concerned, especially considering the size of the models. They're all only 3 or 4 inches and really very good for being that size.

I really didn't mean to suggest that they weren't worth having...I'm just really excited with the prospect of highly detailed models by a master like uhu02!

    Hi Fiver,

I wasn't implying anything in my post :); just wanted to be sure I was on the same sheet of music as everyone else. My thought was that perhaps uhu02 and Makino were collaborating on a redesign of the drone trio. I too am looking forward to uhu02's rendition of the (duck) drones. :thumb:
