I worked on the boat some more today. Finished the sides and almost finished the bottom just one more piece at the front.


Smooth as a baby's bottom. Almost. :eek:ops:




I'm still not happy with the bottom strip. I wish Halinski had made the side pieces and bottom part one piece.

Big yucky gap. Through the magic of cameras and macro mode, I can make it seem a mile wide, even though it's only 1/32 in (.79 mm) across.




Mistakes at the back end. I promise these aren't my fault.

Hey Bob,

It's way better than ship/sub I can put together.

What about doing the connecting strips like we use for planes?. There is thread/tutoral somewhere on how to convert butt joint to strips.

Maybe it would be easier to line things up. Ya know once the glue has dried no-one can see how you build it.... 8)

And you can still say................you know............ it's PAPER!
