    Hello,

I had much more free time during weekend than last days so I spent some time making rear pontoon. I my project the pontoon looks like this:
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

And from paper I got something like this:
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Rest of details I'll add when I'll have ready front pontoons. And traditionally current status of my model:
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I cut some front pontoon's parts:
    [IMG] [IMG]

In spare time I'm cutting "puzzles" - track links elements:

    That's all for today.

    Regards,

    Hi,

I have front pontoons almost ready. Here you can see how I made them:

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    And the front pontoons ready:

That were the last big parts of the model. Now I need to make some small details including tracks of course.

    Hello,

I started painting my model. As a first layer I applied gray primer.

Now, I have to wait till paint will dry before I apply next layer.

    Welcome back.

Last weeks I spent making tracks. I finished. I made 200 single tracks but finally I used "only" 194. I started cutting holes.

Next, I cut and formed single tracks, glue booth sides and track profile:
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Next I cut holes using small tools what I made from nails. I made rest of track's elements but I connect only combs to the tracks.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

The single tracks I connect to a box using Scotch tape and I painted one side of them using ModelMaster Gun Metal paint. When paint dried I removed the tracks and connect track's tooth. I connected again the tracks to the box and painted the second side of them.

Next day, I removed the tracks and connected them making two tracks.
    [IMG] [IMG]

I putted the tracks to my model.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

And now I got all elements ready. Now time to finalize painting.

    Regards
    Michal

    Hi,

I finished the tracks off. At the beginning I put the blend of pigments and I strengthened those fixers to pigments. When pigments dried the color changed, a nice color of dark rust came out. From the side of wheels with pencil I wiped the track which wheels are leaving behind. From the other side I wiped combs with steel paint (dry brush):
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Now tracks are waiting for the final assembly.
    [IMG] [IMG]

Still small messing and there will be an end.

Thanks. I found publisher already and currently I'm working on materials for him. I hope the model will be available soon.

Mind boggling, and one of the cleanest builds I've ever seen.

Giving this a well deserved Model Of The Week spot on the front page! :thumb:
