    Here is my BN GP50 I weathered using chalks

    Still needs the Trucks and Couplers weathered up with a nice coat of rust, that will come later.

    Geez Josh,how in the heck do they see out of the windows on the BN SD70MAC.Are the wipers broken or something?sign1

    wow,those are some nice engines.its weird how to model RR's like us...dirty looks better :confused: :mrgreen:.i've got something neat for you trucklover,to give your engineers a window to see out of,take some masking tape and put it on the window in the shape of the windsheild wiper mark THEN do your weathering.then after you dull coat yor engine itll look like the wiper wiped the dirt off! just like my car :D !--josh

    Excellent dirty up job, and just enough. :thumb: I have some brand new bachmann steamers I need weathered up but I'm going to need a lot of practice first wall1

    Hey, you know what they say, practice makes perfect. okay well not exactly perfect lol but you get the idea, gott start somewere, im sertainly glad I built up the courage to start weathering, it is unbelievable how much a weathered car or anything looks compared to a brand new one!!
