    UP C44-9W (Dash 9) - #9711

Lets start out with my second engine I bought, the UP C44-9W or Dash 9 who weres road number 9711. This one has a all-over weathereding job. I highlighted the various grills by soaking the area in black wash. I have also added fuel spill to the fuel tanks and weathered the trucks, wheels, and couplers.

Nice job! As only a suggestion...you may want to touch some of the truck areas with some black or dark chalk. That might bring out some of the fine detailing that your diesel has. I think you did a really nice job. I think the rust on the trucks looks great.

Awesome! I plan to look foward to that! But as for my F3, I think it looks better without any weathering, actualy. That and you'd be in trouble for breaking and entering.:D

    Kato BN SD70MAC - #9615

Bout time I updated this thread huh? Been a while.

Anyways, here is my new Kato BN SD70MAC that I got from the group buy from Combat. He had an extra one so I bought it from him and just got it yesterday. I put the details on it and then weathered her up. Here is what she looks like now using chalks for the shell and black/grey washes for the chassis and trucks:
