Look great Josh! One of these days I'll bite the bullet and start weathering. I already have Deano's couple pages bookmarked for reference

Deano, Steve, Steven, and Herc, thank-you so much for the nice compliments and the encouragment to do more and more and more :D I really like weathering and I like sharing them with all of you even better :thumb: :D

Thanks Deano,:D I like that UP gondola and the CNW gondola the best

:D Weathering really is not all that hard, you just have to devote a little time to it and have a little patients. The transformation from a clean car to a dirty rust bucket is amazing and it really gives the layout that little extra touch when they are rolling down the tracks in a train. :thumb: :thumb: I say, start now so you don't miss out on it anylonger, cause once you start, you can't stopsign1

WOW, I don't even now what to say, coming form the man that makes AMAZING rock formations/mountains/hills and has a FANTASIC layout, this really means a lot to me. Thank-you so much for the kind words. I have a few reasons to keep on Truckin' and Trainin' nowsign1 bounce7

Thanks man, hopefully I can weather like this in N scale to :thumb:

    BN 50' Boxcar - #247908

Athearn BN 50' Boxcar #247908. This one I did some heavy weathering to. I faded the paint and letters, went over the whole car in grey wash and black wash. Rusty trucks and couplers and a rusty and grimy aluminum roof.

I have to agree with Steve; you have come along way! :thumb: Not only some good-looking weathering, but also some nicely done loads, too. :thumb: :thumb: And I second the comment about energy and enthusiasm: you get more done in a week than I do in 6 months.

Thanks a bunch Wayne, you and Steve have my dream layouts and Deano is right up there with you guys, only if he had a layoutsign1 (his previous layouts are FANTASTIC and just look at his dads layout, Beautiful!! + his SWEET little switching layout that he's got right now, it is a wonder how he fits all that in to such a small space and still makes it look REAL!!) To hear this stuff is really encouraging, I really appreciate all the nice comments I get here on the Gauge. Thanks again for everyones nice comment :D :D :D :D :D :D
