last week there was a 10 ft section of welding cable damaged, looking at the strands of the cable i thought that they would be good making tree forms bent wire and twisted wire to the shape i thought look good used fibers from quilt batting spray painted the wire and the batting with a mix of red and black primer
used fine ground foam for the leaves, what do you think of the finished tree?

the tree scales in HO almost 40 ft tall but the trunk needs finished yet.

Looks good Jim! :thumb:

Now, I bet that technique would be useful for making dead or winter trees, where you see the bare branches. That's always been kind of tricky. What do you think Jim?
