Hello all,

Starting to construct a transfer table for staging. I am looking for a better idea for track spaceing.

I think I will use 3" on center spacing.

I am looking to get the New Bachmann Forney and the Precision Galloping Goose. Are either of theese wider than most of the Bachmann or BLI stuff?

thanks

Not a great authority as i Scratchbuild/ kitbash most of my stock, but the two bachmann locos I have are 2" wide or less, from waht ive read else where 3" centres should be ample

I was able to measure a BLI C-16 last night and it is just under 2 1/4 wide.
Can anyone think of anything that might be wider?

The NMRA standard for On3 is 3" separation on straight track. Since some On30 models are scale replicas of 3ft prototypes except for track gauge, the On3 standards should cover you. K-27, 28, 36 series models would be slightly wider than a C-16.

my thoughts, your choices
