I am now ready to rebuild my HO railroad which has been in boxes for three years. My last layout was 6 x 16 although this one may not be as large. What I need is a good trackplan for about a 6 x 12 at the largest and all flat bed or pretty much flat bed as the base will be plywood and not open framed. As I am red green color blind I don't do mountains etc. I like heavy mainline type of operation with some switching. In summary is there a track plan out there with primary one level operation which might work for me. I just retired so I am beginning a new life so to speak so I would like a good base to start with The model era is 1945 to 1960 with primary diesel 4 axels.
