    Thanks guys,
The little parts, they were not the difficult things to make.
I had tree times made the hulll.
The nose doesn't quiet fit to the hull as it should be.

But wen you start from the middle and glued it towards the out side and cutaway what was over.
glued a extra piece of paper to it and connected to the side of the hull.
There were two flies in one time got the nose right and the connection was a smooth one.
    becourse they don't overlap now.

Well I use that screen saver from time to time.

A small photo for a small update for the small Galactica (1.5 foot).
So far so good, so what!!!

Like I did on the Geminon Traveler I cut of most of the glue flabs, the result is a smooth curved flank.
Still don't know if I should put on the ribs, but I will put the amour plates on the model in a extra layer.

It seems some BSG fans acquired the files before they were removed. I cannot find links to them anywhere on these forums. I'm looking for the small size (1.5 foot, which I plan to downsize by 50% anyway!!).

Is there an exterior link anywhere? A file downloading webpage or a torrent, or anything?

    Thanks

Oh yes, I'd love to see the 3 footer in reality, go for it!

Hey, I'm building the Galactica, and I'm wondering, are the formers supposed to be laminated onto 1mm cardboard or...?

EDIT: I mean, should I back Fu9-12 formers with cardboard?

EDIT: Is it alright if I not use fu 9-12? Will it change the effect of the model?

Probably to provide support for an otherwise flimsy model. Seriously, formers will make your life easier and help the model assume it's shape.

Wait, I think those formers are just for a guide on the spacing between fu1-8, just my guess.

Well, i printed a few pages of the mid-section of the 3 foot Galactica.
I'm afraid wen I build it in the 3-foot I'm getting irritate on the ribs of the galactica.
To get those you need a lot of layers to get them, or built the galactica in a different way.
In the 1.5 version I guess one layer extra on it and than the extra hullplating will do the trick.
For now I'll think I'll go on with the 1.5 and the ribbing and the extra hull.
Wen thats done I'm going to break my head on the 3 footer, there must be a way to make something like Rabe did with the Falcon.sign1

    Oeps!!

Oké, there are some small things that you can change wen you build the Galactica.
Things that are on the "real" one but slightly differed in the model!!
But I found a real oeps, the first arms of the Galactica have the extra amour plates in a slope and the one at the rear have then in a right line.
So the first pice LBA-2 and LBA-3 are the same, but one should be mirrored.

Ahhh, I think I've been looking in the wrong place. I was looking in the "new downloads" forum! I did find a link after some more searching, but it takes me out of the forum and into a separate sub-page for downloads only.

I didn't realize this was here

    (whoops!)

I found it, and downloaded it. Thanks!

Here you go to the picture.

The pice LBA-3 and LBA-4 should be mirrored.
For a good look go to Paul.
