I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in this joint paper model project. I have been watching, downloading, and following with great interest. Not only do I love this series, but I love the ships and designs for just about everything in the rag tag fleet. The 3' big G is awesome. They're all beautiful models. You guys are doing an fantastic job and I'm very grateful.

I REALLY fell in love with the junky rusty old Demetrius. I want one. I may even take it on as a design project if someone has decent plans or screenies. It reminds me of one of my faves from another science fiction universe: the Venice-class freighter from....you guessed it, Independence War.

    eighty dollars???!!??!!
    Come to Brazil, man...
You should pay the same $80, plus $80 shipping, plus 85% importation tax (bill? dunno) over that $160, IF you buy from internet. If it is from a shop, you should increase more (about) 50-80% for the salesman profit......

Me? noo... I went into cardmodelling because I...ahm...uh... I'm too less...talented... when it comes to paint...
    =) sign1

I am drooling for weeks because of this post... I should start my own BSG fleet as soon as I am a my new home. Congratulations for all the designers involved in the project!

    Paper thickness

The models were designed assuming a paper thickness of about .3 mm.

yea theo i think that will work. maybe lighten em up a bit. the key is going to be having uniform graphics. the ones backstept did had shadows on the obliques so i couldnt get a uniform color from peice to peice.

it depends on the scale i decide on. i might go with SJ's solution on the bigG or a more 3d box shape.

lol! the problem was the huge gap between start and getting another set of parts.(no reflection on anyone) i have a hard time getting back to build when it has been interupted like that. i should have waited till i had the whole thing to start.

Finally I started again on the little Geminon Traveler 8.5 cm (main hull)
with the engines it's almost 10 cm.
Spent last summer building a skelter with three weels and 6 gears
(go-card) from a old Kettler Fitness Center.

    And here it is!

A small mother fracker isn't it, some small things like the hose shape things on the back I skipped and the extra on the antenna on the side.
Only the big things I used the glu flaps small stuff I cut them off.
And glued them with out them to getter with patients.

Not sure whats next at the moment.
The Galactica or Celestra or a Colonial Liner.
