I'm afraid I have some terrible news regarding my stepfather Don Brown. He passed away this evening after a long fight with various infections and diabetes. I know he was very active in a lot of the discussion groups. His wife asked that any newsgroups/forums be notified of his passing. As I am Lionel/o-gauge fan myself, I know that the railroading world has lost one of its great mentors and living repositories of knowledge. Again, I hate to have to post this saddening news, but I know there were a lot of people out there who looked up to him out here as being a sage of sorts.
