will you do a thread on "N scale turnbuckles from cereal box cardboard"?
Thanks folks. This has been a fun project. Dave I don't know about that but will think on it.
The riggers came so the cables are taut again. Then this poor hostler lost the draw and has been sent out to turn the crank that then turns the turntable. Not an easy job. A muscle builder for sure.
As my 5 month old puppy says WOW, WOW,
As my 5 month old puppy says RWOW,RWOW,
Inspired by Mike SD90, I have started making a paper mill. Cardboard as usual.
It is based on the remains of one here in Georgetown, ON
Here he goes again!!!!!
Hey Robin, I thought you were going HO scale, hehehe.
Val, if Robin does go HO, I will promise to help him find good homes for his N scale buildings.
I only wish I was in HO Val but have far too much invested in N to even think about it
I bet you would Will!!!!
Robin, you could always build an HO diorama........
Good idea Val. Will be looking for some good small diorama plans. I know there are tons of them. Need one with some good switching puzzles.
I'll be watching this thread!
Building a paper mill out of cardboard. Is that recycling or what?? Way to go Robin. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Hey Clark I have always believed in re-cycling. Hope I can do justice to this structure Mike. I am still waiting to see how yours turns out.
Another segment of the paper mill completed and ready for painting.
Amazing , good stuff Robin. :thumb:
The basic structure is now complete ready for painting. It measures 41 inches from end to end.
Wow Robin that is really impressive!! I love massive structures like that, and only wish I had room for more of them on my layout. Hmmmmm, maybe I should get into N-scale.
Very impressive as Val said Robin. Yes Val you should get into the "correct" scale!
I am in full agreement with Tyson Val.
Now Val, when I said I needed to get into HO or bigger when I saw you wondeful loco bash you were all for me to build an HO diarama so now I can say you should build an N scale diarama with a large structure on it.!!!!
