Are we to suppose that the failing economy is O's fault..?? The guy hasn't taken over yet....And even then, there's no magic light anywhere that'll do a quick fix, not even the one at the end of the tunnel....

That was what is commonly known as a quick-and-dirty anology. It is unfortunate that you did not understand it; however, it is forbidden to discuss politics on this forum, so I will leave you to your thoughts.

"We have but one choice now, we must face the long dark of Moria"-Gandalf

The "magic light"? For now it will have to be faith.
The "quick fix"? Nothing worth fixing, can be fixed quickly.
The "one at the end of the tunnel"? Is the "magic light", and for now it will take patience, perseverance, and yes, faith.
We haven't lost our way, but we are on the siding furthest from the depot.....for the time being.

I'd guess the gauge will survive -- after all we just managed 26 pages about an imaginary light !!! No wonder nobody gets much modeling done !!

Sorry, thumsup. How about if we appoint you Guardian of the Light, instead?

No, because then there would be no light here. It is now yours to maintain faithfully, right here where it started and where it remains.

    Enjoy.

Just a fignewton of your imagination. CG will probably shut it off permanently as a cost saving measure, while reminding you that you cannot be involved with any light on any other forum.

Actually, NO. The light bulb burned out. Not only that, but the tunnel has caved in.

    This is a dead thread.
    Please no NECROPOSTING!

This has to be one of the most ridiculous threads I have ever read in this forum. It's divisive, opinionated, unsubstantiated by any facts. So, It's now closed. None of this kind of stuff will ever be allowed here. Anyone posting such drivel will be reminded, and fast. We have put too much work into this forum and there is no tolerance for for this kind of cr@p. This thread is collapsed, it's dead. However, this forum is alive and kicking!

I'll Ban anyone who starts up or tries to revive this kind of divisiveness.
