Sydney Derailment

    Just got these developed. A derailment in peak hour at the end of my street. A City Rail deisel/hydraulic ran off the end of the yards and nearly bought down the powerlines. It was just after dark so pics are not that bright.

    Busy Junction

    The derailment was at a busy junction (as you can see the double decker suburbans) and gives you an idea how far I live from the centre of Sydney.

    Brakes Failed

    Apparently the brakes failed, so the driver jumped clear.

    Rode Loco's like that in England , glad I dont live that close to a big City. Just hate to see trains off the rails!!
