Kind of figured that's how things were going. The Stormtrooper is next, then I'm taking a break. Next as far as this thread goes. I need to wrap some things up and move onto a few other things....

Its all print out , on black card stock and cut out ! with the PDO I'll start rolling them up to make round parts for the cap. My idea with visor is to use the clear transfer paper and light sharpe the back and give that dark outside look , Once all the helmet together i'll brush on paper vonish i have then when it all died polish it up ! hopeful it won't need more then 2 coats be paper.

All this and finish other paper projects up ! !! Oh and paint the bath ceiling and hallway before my wife kill me :(

The Death Star gunner looks to be as complex as some of the more eclectic spartan helms on the 405th site!

    Looks awesome!

I can't wait to build it, but there's plenty on my plate before this. There have been a lot of downloads hope someone pops up and does a build.

    houston, we have a problem

okay, as the title implies, i have encountered a little problem. the scale.
correct me if i am wrong, but i could have sworn that i typed 290mm
the jango helm is just a bit small. the 9 and the 0 are the wrong way round
209mm. thankfully, i noticed before i printed. so im working on a unfold. but i wont be able to save it. just unfolding it to my size so i wont have to wait an extra day or 2 for the helm.
just thought id point it out coz it might just be a bit small for some people
    lator mtk:cool:
wait, just found another problem. there are no fold lines!
    any help mtk?

    nice

thats about it. except for one thing. while i was making my terrible unfold, i noticed that this is more of a model, not helm. there is a base to this helm. but that is easily fixed and not a big deal. now i wait! ive only looked at it in pep, but i can tell it is sweet!

I didn't so much think of that as a base as much as stiffener to maintain the shape until it's complete, at which point you can cut it free. It's up to you how you build it. At any rate, by changing the dimensions and adding the fold lines I changed the way I'm going to have to lay out the parts. The parts as they are are to big for letter sized paper, would you like to try this on 11X17" cardstock? It will make it much easier to get on that size sheet.
Do you want to double check the dimensions.

    err

well i planned to make it on A4 cardstock/A4 paper.
so if it is relativley close to that, yea. coz my good printer is broken (no!)
and all ive got is a ream of A4 paper, bout half a ream of A4 cardstock, and a printer that will only print A4. not to mention the last time i bought letter was months ago, so ... yea

That changes everything. I have to plot for that and make it available for everyone else. Sorry, but it will take more time.

Those are brilliant looking icons, I can't wait to see what you have, but frankly I'm tired of using Babblefish to figure out what you're saying. Think maybe you can try to speak english and tell us what you are doing? Sorry, not trying to be a pinche caverone, just saying. OK Vato? Adios me amigo.
