I just finished this model of a Caravelle XII in the colors of Air Inter. My first model designed in Rhino, using techniques learned on this forum.

    Ready for a test build.

    Promising

    Looks very promising.
In which scale do you plan to make it?
    And only air france-livery?

    Greetings

    Thanks.

The plan is that it be 1/100 scale but I am having trouble scaling it in Rhino. I think I have it pretty close though.

This is a Caravelle XII operated only by Air Inter. I chose it over the other versions because it's shapes were slightly simpler; and this was my first model.

I have Swissair livery for it also, but that is only fictional.

    Finished Test Build

Here is my first attempt at assembling this model. There were some issues with the spars that hold the wing, tail and engines in place so I ended up edge gluing them just so I could have a complete model. Actually not complete, in this picture it does not have horizontal stabilizers, just the faulty spar.

I learned a lot on this one, my next model will be better, I hope.

    Thank you, Cyber. I agree.

Model-building is fun, designing your own models is a thrill beyond even that.
