One thing about a load of ice. When you loose the load, you don't notice it! After all it is not like it spoils or anything!

hello all---thanks for your kind responses---hopefully doctor wayne will respond to identify the origin of the vehicles as these shots were taken on his layout .
now that the trains have passed, traffic hurridly crosses the main at walnut street.maybe they should have elevated the main line like the tracks in the background to avoid all the delays but the local townsfolk are use to the steady passing of the trains and don't mind watching all the action

Good to see you back in action, Senor Nutbar. You are correct, Relic, Both the police car and Hoffentoth Bros. ice truck are from Sylvan. The truck's flatbed body was embellished a bit, as it's also used in the winter to haul home-delivery coal.
In the last scene, the express truck, the bus and the grey '26 Essex coach are all from Jordan, while that wheel and front fender at the left of the frame belongs to a '32 Chevy by Williams Bros. The red stake truck with the tarp on top, backed up to National Grocers, is another Sylvan.
That passenger car, solarium/observation Tuscarora, sitting on the overpass, belongs to Grand Valley parent company Elora Gorge & Eastern. Chances are she's on a detour move on account of trackwork on the home road, as the usual passenger accomodations on this line are non-air conditioned coaches. Dunnville Central Station is hidden to the right, behind Bertram's Machine Tool Works.
