    Hi SO,

Great job on the first one, it came out looking righteous with all the detail and extra bits that you added to it. I can see this next addition is going to be just as gnarly. I'll be sitting here in the wings watching and taking notes on stuff to add to my own builds. ;) :thumb:

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. Your submarine should be looking good by now. I hope that the extra glue and heavy paint works out. Instead of heavy paint, try spackling compound and then smooth it as much as possible with your fingers.

So here are some more photos of the Walker. The photos are self explanatory.

I've never played warhammer but I love the look of a lot of the ships and stuff. These builds are great, the level of detail is astounding. Keep up the excellent work.

Same here :) Never played this (PC game does not count :)), but the designs are _SO_ cool :)
And I like this build, this is one very nice plane!

I started to play the game a long time ago in the early 90's but stopped playing due to the rule changes that forces you to buy a different rules codex about every year. plus the increase of the prices is like getting robbed by dark Eldar pirates, or mugged by those nasty Orks. I believe that GW might be controlled by the Warp and under the influence of Nurgle psykers. But on the bright side, The models are really cool stuff and fun to make or design.

Here are some more updates on the Walker. The next postings will be on the start of the leg mechanism. Enjoy and see you all soon with more updates.

Some of you have been waiting to see how I tackle the legs section for the Walker. Here are the photos of the first phase of the legs section, the under mechanism for the fuselage.

Continuing with the legs for the Walker. As of the moment, no problems encountered in the scratch building of the parts.

Gee Willikers, while I think these plans served as a basis for this model, and it is a great model, you have really taken it to a whole new level though. It's great to see this kind of innovation. I think this kind of build up gives a result that is difficult to achieve in any other medium. :)

Using your imagination is part of the game. When I saw this model on Games Workshop I saw the possibilities, and when newobmj designed it, it opened the door for me to embellish it.

Thank you for your comment and hopefully the techniques I have shown here, will help in all aspects of paper modeling.

So now, on with more updates on the leg building phase. At the moment I have to wait until the lower leg glue sets so that I can do the ball joint connector. Enjoy and see you all soon with more updates.

Continuing with the legs. At the moment, I am working on the foot pads. The legs are coming along nicely and better than I expected. Here is the next set of photos.

The lower section are finished and still more to come. Making the foot pads now and it is a stable platform, but that will come later.

The lower legs are almost finished. Disregard the positions of the legs in the photo, they are on backwards but it will be fixed later near the end. The body will not be attached until the weapons array is done a few more details are finished.

Sometimes, I wish that I could make my imagination into a blueprint. I just look at the object and think "how does it work" and then imagine the possibilities. When I make the plans, They are hard to build, because the build sequence is in my head. This is another reason that I make my build threads so as to make a model look more believable.

More photo updates, The making of the missile launcher. This version is different in that the launchers become one single unit and will be place on top of the cabin. The model is already nose heavy as is and this will bring the center of gravity back to the center. Again, the cabin will be attached permanently later after the weapons array are finished. But here is a look of the fll body and legs pose.

what will you put instead of the wings? I would have thought that enlarged missile pods which could be rotated would have fit nicely.

The first choice for the wing type weapons array, were the missile pods. But in this case, I am thinking of a quad Las-Cannon setup. This can be used as anti personnel and against other flyers. I was thinking of two Basilisk cannons but that would be overkill and proportionately, the vehicle would not be able to withstand the recoil. It would probably do a bunch pf rear somersaults. I am working on the setup at the moment to see how it would work out.

Here are some more updates on the Walker. There are two more Storm Talon conversions coming up. The next will be the helicopter version. I got the main rotor system already planned out. I hope it comes out as good as these. Enjoy and I will work on those pylon guns system. See you all around the forums.

I would think that quad las cannons would be very good against other vehicles (flyers but specially tanks) and the missiles for infantry, anyway looking very good, will you be balancing it by adding weight to the rear?

I have spent most of my life in the manufacture of aerospace products. This work of yours is just so right on the money. If you showed a video of it walking, I'd believe it! :)
