    Hi Gary,

Many thanks for the Spindrift model design, this and the Flying Sub are my favourite Allen craft.

Very sad news but at least there is a great model of the Seaview to serve as a tribute to him.

OK as I sit here waiting for the incredibly big and fast mouse that my cat has so thoughtfully brought in and released into the front room so that we can do the owner pet bonding thing trying to catch itwall1,,I have been trying to think of other childhood programmes that would produce nice models:genius2:.Gary has covered the Anderson and Allen there was of course Glen A Larson but BSG has been well covered and there is an amazing model of the Buck Rogers fighter as well.Blake's 7's Liberator would be nice and of course DR Who had some pretty iconic items but can't think of much else that the aforementioned heroes didn't have a hand in.Were our childhood dreams really dependant on so few people?,there must be some I can't think of.Oh well back to the mouse catching!.:curse:

It is from Marine Boy the flying sub patrol boat thingy.Loved this as a kid although I very nearly drowned in the bath because of It,not realising as a kid that Wrigley's didn't make Oxy Gumsign1
I still know the theme tune!

    Hi Phil,
Yeah I've got the Flying Sub model, thanks. Before Garry leaves the Gerry Anderson theme I would love to see him design the classic SPV form Captain Scarlet. Years ago there was a brilliant commercial card model that I had. I would love to have a decent model again.

Obviously. I mean, look at the name. It's patently apparent that they were 'pufnstuf' when they came up with the idea for that show. . .

Given that Jack Wild started his career filming with Oliver Reed ( a man not opposed to the odd tipple and quite happy to share with anyone of any age) he probably saw things like HR all the time.aussie
