  Welcome to the Gauge. Did I read that right on the Web? Telegrapher?? I was a telegrapher for the Southern Pacific on the Shasta Division, Southern Oregon to Northern California. After a lot of Bumping from one station to another I was finally bumped out for the last tiime due to CTC beiing installed. I started with the old key and the SP gradually changed to using phones. All this took place back in the 50's and 60's.

There are a lot of good guys and gals on here with lots of knoledge so just hang tight and they will reply to your post/:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: sign1 sign1
