Thanks for all the nice words. The rock colors looks less dark to me now after I added the tan paint and some turf .
I think I forgot to mention that in order to have a flat surface on which to glue the rock ,I hot glued some cardboard rock templates on the paperwads before applying the plastercloth.

I've been away for 3 months, railfanning in Brasil :)
The next step was to glue the cork roadbed to raise the road.
I measured and cut the .030 mm styrene that will be glued on top of the cork roadbed to simulate a concrete road.
I scribed the expension joints on the styrene too.
I wanted to install some dirt road but finding real dirt here in Canada in january is a challenge. So I had to order som Highball dirt from the hobby store. It should arrive next week.
I scratchbuilt a loading ramp for the teamtrack located on the spur.
While wairing for the real dirt I'm assembling some structure, a bungalow from Atlas.
