Connecting the primary and secondary hull together. There is a signifigant gap on the main part the secondary hull sets on. Not sure how I messed it up, but a painted shim will fix that. As you can see, I am running out of work space. The kitchen table is next.
There's just nothing like a Big Boy model! Excellent work!:thumb:
Thanks. My wife still wants to know where I am going to display this beast when complete.
The model, or your Wife? lol
That would look cool mounting it up on the ceiling for that size , Nice Work F131:thumb:.
Coming along beautifully. Almost done.
Don't forget to internally brace those engine arm supports, or they'll sag!
Very very nice.
You bet. This baby is loaded with poster board.:thumb:
It really is coming along quite nicely. It's big, and that is really cool.
Looks great so far dude.:thumb: I remember building this and how awesome it felt to finish it. the only problem is that i keep going back and adding little details. it's hard to stop.
Looks awesome! And like Zathros said, I love our work area. Mine is the dining room table. Fortunately, the kids are all still pretty short.
Please post some pics. I would love to see your version.
My house is the neighborhood flophouse for my teenage daughters click. I only get the dinner table during school hours.
I don't want to feel like I'm stealing the thread. Here's the whole set. Beware, I had crap for space to work, so it's a little messy.
Excellent job. Your RY looks professionally assembeled. Thanks for sharing your pics.
After 3 full months, I am finally in the home stretch. Then, the fine detail work.
Wow...that sucker's really big, and looks excellent.
Thanks, guys. I appreciated feedback in all its forms.
Very beautiful build. The gloss card really makes it stand out. Congrats and thanks for sharing!
