Just dragging up this thread to see if there was any more progress on the Death Glider, and the "Needle Threader". Hey, even the Ha'Tak.
no progress yet but i havnt abandon it.
There IS a model of the Stargate itself out there if anyone is interested. It's more or less scaled for Lego minis, but very well done. When I built it, the only changes I made were to replace the stairs with a ramp. It's an easy build, and turns out really well. Can't for the life of me remember where I found it, but I still have it.
This picture is from the site where I got the model.
I posted that model (and alternative textures for it) some time ago in the Internet Finds department. Try here: http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=162579
Anyone know if there's a Pegasus Galaxy version?
None that I know of. How about one scaled to Paper Avation's Puddle Jumper?
Yeah, thats what I was thinking of doing.
I'm also still waiting for someone to make some Wraith ships. The Dart, Hive, or even just the Cruiser would be nice. The Lantian Aurora class would be nice too.
ive got a stargate on my site a pegasus version not very good but i think it looks ok
Me too, but in contrast to Starship Builder I think that mine is very good! AND it can easily be scaled to the aforementioned puddle jumper as that was what I had in mind when I designed it.
//edit: I just test-printed it at 50% and I think it would look really nice if you cut a puddle jumper in half and glue it to the event horizon... in-transit! wow!! announce1
I decided I wanted a quick Death Glider build. I borrowed the bow of Nothing's Berzerk Battlestar for the fuselage, and the wings of the Centauri Sentri fighter. Its the same scale as the F-302 from the Pepakura website, both in the pictures were built at half-size. Its not incredible, but its decent enough for me. A few parts need a little modification.
Paragon, you make my little heart beat fast!! For a 'quick' build, that looks totally awesome. Is it available for download?
No, not yet. I'll want to fix it up first.
Ok, the model is available on my website, in the Other section.
I'm still waiting for Nothing to make his, I'm sure it will be much better.
