I might not have posted anything for a few days, but I've not been idle. I have three Klingon birds of prey built. For the build log on these refer to my "Delivering Humpbacks" entry. These are courtesy of spaceagent-9 - thank-you Jim :). The Enterprise D design is from the Lower Hudson Gift Shop and is by Erik J.
    01.JPG
Instructions are included in the Enterprise download so it's just a case of following them.
    02.JPG
So now I have three bop's and a USS Enterprise 1701-D.
    03.JPG
What comes next? Which episode could this be? Answers on a postcard to... ;)

    Could it be "Yesterday's Enterprise?"

    @Rhaven Blaack Thank-you Rhaven :)

@bgt01 Close, but no cigar ;)

    @spaceagent-9 One k'vorcha coming up ;) lol

There are two more ships to add to this one. Here are the parts for the upper wing port side top:-
    04.JPG
Followed by the upper wing starboard side top, shapers and profiling section:-
    05.JPG
With the halves connected I cut the central span and the front edges:-
    06.JPG
Which gives the top of the upper wing :). I've also cut the trailing edges and the pieces for the centre of the underside:-
    07.JPG
All the strips were connected with strips of paper glued underneath so that a fairly smooth surface can be achieved. It takes much longer, but I prefer the results. This design is Zosho's from his Novice Cardmodel Designer site.
I'll wait for some more guesses about which episode this is for ;)

its the premier episode-duel dimensional overlap of the infamous enterprise -c!!!! yesterdays' enterprise?
and you are going to have the bops attatcking the 1701-d while the c passes over to the nightmare it left of 3 warbirds attacking. I suggest at least 1 kbop exploding!!!!!!

i think it is TNG: The Defector

Ent-D, 2x Romulan Warbirds and 3 supersized Klingon BoPs

    http://www.suricatafx.com/?p=274

BTW: it will be the first time that i see Zosho´s Warbird built from an other builder than Zosho! i tried but failed, because there are some small mistakes and the ship will not look good in 1/1700!

@spaceagent-9 @D-WHALE @bgt01 And the cigar goes to Marco! :D It is indeed going to be The Defector and the suricatafx site is where I'm taking my scale guide from. I'll possibly have a go at Yesterday's Enterprise bgt and Jim - I haven't built a tiny Enterprise C yet and I can mix 'n' match the other ships :).

@D-WHALE I already built Zosho's warbird at a smaller scale and had some trouble (as the photo shows o_O). Hopefully I'll be able to do better now that I have more experience:-
    053.JPG
The pieces for the underside of the upper wing are shown here:-
    08.JPG
which gives a completed upper wing like this:-
    09.JPG
Now I'm starting on the upper side of the lower wing:-
    10.JPG
If I remember correctly, the wrestling match starts when the upper and lower wings are connected. I'll also need to do some remodeling to ensure that the top of the warbird's 'head' is flush - unlike in my smaller version!

    another great choice.
in pain wont bother wit h typos. would like to see a st6 excelsior arrival and 1701-a bombardment of changes bop.you can hide a lot of wires in panels and running ships off into the back of the diorama for wires to run thru. blinking red leds for firing photorps, thru glue or clear trees . green and yellow blinkers for chang buddy

It looks like the Warbird is coming together nicely!
From what I can see of your shelves, I would be correct in saying that you have quite a menagerie of different Star Trek (micro) ships.

nothing against Zosho´s models, but in my eye was it a wrong decision to unfold the wings as stripes! it make it harder to build!

@Rhaven Blaack The warbird is much easier this time - lol. I'm building twice the size of the one in the photo, although it's still only going to be about 3" long. I've not counted the micros recently, but I reckon I have in excess of 60 by now.

@D-WHALE The stripes do make it awkward, but using thin strips of paper seems to work quite well at joining them. I had another design which looks as if it would have taken around 5 minutes to build, but Zosho's has quite a bit more detail so I opted for it.

    Continuing with the lower wing:-
    11.JPG
the finished upper part looks like this:-
    12.JPG
Then it was time to start on the underside of the lower wing:-
    13.JPG
Progress is kinda slow as each piece has to attached and allowed to dry individually. Also, the leading and trailing edges can only be attached to a maximum of three strips at a time. And of course I'm having to do all this twice ;)

The lower wing is finished and the sides are ready to be connected:-
    14.JPG
Which leaves the back section and the head to be built:-

    The last sections are completed:-
    16.JPG
and I have two Romulan warbirds:-

I'm out of ink so I set a starscape as my desktop background until I can get something printed off. I tried to build a cloaked bird of prey using various pieces of clear plastic. I tried for three days, but it just didn't work. The plastic stuck to the tweezers, the tweezers stuck to my fingers, the plastic stuck to my fingers, the tweezers stuck together - but would the plastic stick to the plastic?!? Anyway, here's the stand-off in The Defector:-
