Hi - a new project - differend universe;-)) (not Star Wars or BSG)

Found this model at papercraftsquare.com where many other nice models can be found.
The rifle looks like being life size.

A page where the parts and the assambly is shown serves as instruction.

Let´s go.

I've built this model in the past. It was one of my first models to do, because it was rather straightforward, the instructions were good and detailed, and it's always nice to have something life size.

Mine turned out a little twisted/torqued, mainly because it was one of my first models, it was large, and because I was rushing through it. The model itself can definitely be used as a base for variants seen on screen. Some electric components for a light source can also be added.

He has a type II phase design as well that came out better for me.

@ winsabre - thx for the tip will look for the type II design.
By now it is straight forward - no big issues at the moment. You are right - you have to work as exact as possible to avoid a twist. This can happen more easy on bigger parts - in other words by using small parts it is more easy to correct twists.

So next pictures:

Last pics and summary:
Yes in principle it is an easy model, but....
you have to work very carefully the foldings have to be exact otherwise you will create some gaps.
The barrel I made twice - go straight through the parts to have them in the right direction. I cut all first and afterwards I had trouble with the assembling.
Step by step for the barrel.

Nice model - mine with gaps and twisted a little (not really too much). I think about colouring afterwards - sometime as shown in last picture.
