    Space Telescope, Hubble
The outer casing and the internal structure (the telescope itself)
[IMG] Page model: hubblesite.org / go / model.
I took the expert model, for subjective reasons, it is noteworthy only.
    Developer: Ton Noteboom
Scope: The original 1/48, but printed with scale 110%.
Paper 160 g, somewhere twisted pair.

    Continue to debriefing.
We have a set of "hand made telescope"
A half hour, and in our hands

    [IMG][IMG]

Assembly as a pipe-in-pipe. The outer casing print on paper 160g. The transverse rings from .5 mm cardboard, inner tube made of strips of cardboard ~ .3 mm and a width of 11-12 mm.
Actually the telescope in the body:

    P.S. sorry for bad English.

Many years when I worked for Perkin-Elmer, we made parts for that telescope. A acquaintance worked on then lens. The stress of what he was doing almost drove him nuts, but he pulled it off. This model is an absolute beauty!

Its one of my most Favourite Modles Ive made,

One day I will make a double size version :)

I am impressed, as many others are I'm sure, by how clean you have all the parts attached. Really fine workmanship and technique here. :)

    Well. This is it.
I decided that the flat telescope will look shabby, so I erased handles from the original and made them twisted pair :)
