I just thought I'd share this pic of a loco I have been seeing a lot of latley. I posted this on another forum and have been learning a lot about it...

Apparently, SP leased this unit from Helm Leasing. They ended up taking ownership of it, and never bothered to repaint it because it was right before the UP merge.
It has been sitting on a siding about 10 miles from my house, lashed to a UP unit, and from what I can tell, is used as a switcher?/.
I am going to try to get hold of a digital cam sometime soon and grab some more pics.
