someone help please, my roto start!

    my roto start does not turn the engine over at all. Whats wrong?

    Just hold the rotor start in your hand , Does it spin, make sure the battery is charged, Now try it in the truck if it don't spin remove the glow plug then try again if it don't spin, Depending on how much use the engine has it could be the system on the truck is jammed or the piston is stuck in the sleeve after the plug is out,is the engine on the top of the stroke if so you will see the piston just below the plug hole about 3/16" deep if so heat the engine up with some kind of blow dryer to heat it up because SOMETIMES the piston is stuck on top of stroke and the heat will help loosing it up....Let me know....

    The piston is not stuck the roto start works only sometimes but not long enough to start the engine. i got the truck yesterday!

    send back the roto start it is probaly faulty or try another battery

    Thanks guys but the one way bearing was cracked so i replaced it and the car started right up.

    But i thought the engine did turn over, where was it cracked
