trying to figure out some stuff, I thought you might like to see.
I don't now how you do it! Looks great!
the spike model is just a hit or miss hand draw. the Klingon is really the hard work, putting a lot of hours into it, a lot of things I don't like from wolf's Klingon, I am correcting. not that its bad, it just nags at me to do it my way. im sure everyone knows that feeling. I am still working on my own bell cannon section and I have to print it out and glue it to know. thanks.
Nice Spike! I wish someone would create a "Spot" from the Munsters!
A BIG "LIKE" FOR "SPIKE" FROM ME!
Thank!s im going to fix this one up soon, I need to ''stubbyfy'' it so it matches ,is it ''Chang''?['s] original stmp model. have to draw it out, build it, fix it, repeat until im put in a straight jacket. also Alice and Grumpy.
Very nice, Bigger pictures, Please!!
I am still refining this, but its starting to work, a few more tries...
is this what you mean Zath, by bigger pictures? or did you mean single shots instead of multi pics?
Hey ...that would be a GREAT diorama!!
My thoughts exactly! I'd love to make a display for SPOT with my 7 inch Munster figures I bought last year.
all I remember is the glowing eyes and the stairs flipping up
There are no full pictures of Spot. He is basically a dinosaur/dragon shape. His head is dinosaur/dragon shaped and breathes fire. I've never seen him with wings but one of the Munsters called him a dragon at least once. In the new reimagined version from a couple of years ago he was a regular dragon. I'll look in my research photos and see if I can find any pictures.
Only photos I could find of SPOT.
lol those guys were crazy!!
I loved that show. Collected them all on DVD. I've been wanting to take Air Dave's Munster House model and use it as a starting point for a wall hanging model, with street in front. Something to display my Munster Koach, Dragula, and 7 inch action figures I picked up. Spot could be peeking around the corner of the house.
Lee, these pictures are awesome! The Munsters was the only TV show that ran in English with German subtitles on German TV because the station thought the humour could not be translated effectively if the dialogue was dubbed. Later they did dubb it but whenever I see the dubbed version I only hear the original voices and background noises (they changed the applause and laughter clips in the German version). It was a great show.
Jim, I just noticed that you have named the WIP pictures of the Romulan BoP "rombop". Is this an "official" abbreviation or did you came up with that? I LOLed hard when I read that; it undoubtedly fits to the subject but it sounds like it was a sidekick of "RoboCop"..!
rombop. kbop....kind of a dance move I guess, or maybe strummed to a Vulcan harp...?
Revell-Fan you are right about the voices and the characters on the Munsters thats why the reboot version on NBC didn't work. Plus they tried to reimagine it. I wonder if we could use a standard dinosaur paper model, recolor it green, and maybe add some little batwings from another model to his shoulders. I may do some research and see what I can come up with. Kind of a Kitbash.
here you can see that I over-saturated the screen shot of the studio rombop from BALANCE OF TERROR tos, and the nacelles turned out green and blue. so I tried it on a purple metallic paper model. I put a blue led covered in white paper behind a green led and then a colored marble infront of that, unfortunately, the pic blurred the light. but in person, it is very satisfactory. the model is about 7 inches wingtip to wingtip.
the turquoise cloak center cabin reflects off the rim and wings, looking like a light leak but it isn't.
