small track plan needed

i need some help
need to make a ho scale plan or maybe some one has somethign that will do

it has to fit on top of my display case i am building to house my collection, i do not have room at the moment for a full layout.

so i want to build a layout to cover the top of the display case
8 feet long 16 inches wide.
small turn table area and switching yard just so the wheels get exercised. Dc power
anyone have anythingt hat fits the bill let me know
or has ideas ?

This site was linked to a thread on the Gauge a few months back. It might offer something to get you strarted. I doubt that you would have room for a roundhouse and turntable, but a small atlas turntable set at one end woukld allow you to turn engines around.

Another site with tons of plans for small layouts: http://www.carendt.com. A lot of plans are for layouts that are even a lot smaller than yours, but you might find some good ideas how to get the most of your space.
